Isadou

The Saramaccan Isadu island is located in the heart of Suriname on the upper Suriname River at the Jaw Jaw Rapids which is surrounded by beautiful jungle. Isadu has several large simple cabins with private bathroom and 4 beds with bedding and mosquito nets. There are also several open houses, where one is prepairing the meals for you. A small bar serves the internal needs of man. Surrounded by the JawJaw Rapids a delight for the lovers of water sports. Laying and swimming in the delicious rapids in harmony with the tropical rainforest is an indescribable experience. In daytime the owner is going with you to agricultural plots, visit the village NewAurore and tells you about the culture of the saramacaners. Also he will make a walk into the jungle with you. In the evening he takes you for caimans spotting and to the river by Moonlight and to discover manystars .
