Tenerife is the largest island of the Canary Islands, a group of islands belonging to Spain in the Atlantic Ocean. The island is located about 400 km from the coast of Morocco and Western Sahara and with more than 900,000 people, it is the island with the most inhabitants in Spain. Like the neighboring islands, it is an island of volcanic origin. The largest volcano on the island is El Teide, which at 3718 meters is the highest mountain in the Canary Islands and even in Spain.

Apartment “Perla de Roca (Pearl of Rock)

Poblado Marinero is centrally situated in beautiful Los Gigantes on the harbour. The elevator takes you to the fourth floor where the cozy apartment is located. You have 2 bedrooms here. 1 with double bed, work table with chair and fitted wardrobe and separate hall with access to bathroom with washbasin, bathtub, toilet and bidet. The other bedroom has a walk-in bathroom with shower, washbasin and toilet. 2 separate single beds, bedside tables and closet. The new modern open kitchen has an induction hob, large fridge, large freezer, microwave, toaster, coffee machine, kettle and 4-piece crockery/cutlery. The living room has a comfortable corner sofa, easy chair, dining table with 4 chairs, sideboard with 55” smart TV.From the balcony you have the most beautiful view over the ocean with a cozy seat and 4 easy chairs, 2 umbrellas. Laundry room with washing machine, ironing board, iron, bucket, mop, broom, vacuum cleaner. We have FAST internet. Under the complex you will find div. souvenir shops, tour operators, canoe rental and diving schools. Boat tours are organized from here to spot dolphins and whales, dive, snorkel and spot beaches. You stroll by the harbor with cozy bars and restaurants. A 5 minute walk away is the beautiful outdoor pool Oasis on the rocks overlooking the ocean. >
The apartment is located right next to the attractive La Guia beach under the gigantic rocks of Los Gigantes.

We do not like different prices for high and low season and therefore keep an average for the whole year, which everyone can benefit from. We ask E 490 per week. Per month: E 1470 with occupancy of 2 persons. For several people on request. Exception 23.12. until 5.01. is the night price E 90 with occupancy 2 persons. We ask for a deposit of E 300 for the entire period, which will be refunded within 7 days after departure if there were no calamities. For bookings up to 14 days, we ask for the final cleaning (with normal use) E 60 For longer bookings, we have the apartment cleaned by our cleaning company 1 x in 14 days. This costs E 60 per 14 days.

Swimming
Outside the beach, which is right next to the apartments and where showers are available, you can also use 2 public paid swimming pools:
1) Tipsy Bar. 5 minutes walk from the apartment for the bus stop
2) Swimming pool Oasis. A beautiful bath with great sea views from the bath. 5 minutes walk. Walk up the street, immediately 1st street on the right
3) Free sea swimming pool. 15 minutes walk. Walk up the street, after the bus stop keep right, 1st left, natural swimming pool Los Gigantes

Car: E 29 a day. When renting for more than 2 weeks, we rent out our car Citroen C3 for a reasonable price.

Apartment Penthouse de Roca (Rotspenthouse)

This unique penthouse apartment has a large balcony with full sea view, seating and work table and 50m2 terrace with 3 sun loungers, dining table with 6 chairs, bar table with 4 bar stools and sofa, parasol, pergula and outdoor shower. It is newly renovated. There are 2 bedrooms. 1 with king-size bed, bedside tables, built-in wardrobe and dresser with TV, the other with 2 1-2p beds and 1 bunk bed (sleeps 2) and extra mattress, built-in wardrobe, 2 chairs, bedside tables. 1 bathroom with shower, washbasin and toilet. The other with toilet, washbasin furniture and outdoor shower. Well-equipped new kitchen with fridge/freezer, microwave, oven, electr. hob, toaster, coffee machine, kettle and 6-piece crockery/cutlery. The living room has a comfortable corner sofa, easy chair, dining table with 6 chairs, sideboard with 55” smart TV. We have FAST internet. Laundry room with washing machine, ironing board, iron, vacuum cleaner, bucket & mop, brooms, beach chairs and parasol. It is located directly on the beach and harbor of Los Gigantes with its many rest.bars and shops. Boat trips, canoe rental, diving & snorkelling are organized from here.

This apartment is ideal for IT professionals and expats for a longer term. Lots of space, quiet, right on the beach for a dip in between, shops, restaurants within easy reach.
Terrace ideal for small children, children's pool, box, etc. Extra outdoor shower.

This place is an ideal starting point for various trips and walks. There are 2 tour operators and 2 diving schools on site. Boat trips depart every day to spot whales and dolphins and to visit beaches. There is also a canoe and boat rental. Below are 7 restaurants, 4 ice cream shops, supermarket, ATM, div. boutiques etc. At a 5 min. walk to the village there are 2 banks, div. restaurants, church, supermarkets, real estate agencies. 5 min. further by car (20 min walk) there is a Lidl in the next village Puerto de Santiago. Also here beautiful boulevard along the ocean with div. Rest.
TIP: These 2 apartments are located directly next to each other (neighbors) and can also be used together as a family home.

Walking

Walking in the Canary Islands is very popular. Tenerife has hundreds of marked hiking trails which you can walk individually or under supervision. The village of Vilaflor (1500 m high) in particular offers excellent opportunities for walks. Almost half of the island is a protected nature reserve. These include the Teide National Park, the La Esperanza Pine Forest and the Anaga Mountains. In Anaga, part of the forests consists of laurel trees. The Laurisilva is a dense forest in which mainly laurels and ferns can be found. These plants disappeared from the Mediterranean basin during the Tertiary and are today only found in Macaronesia, which also includes the Canary Islands.

Among the long-distance hiking trails, the GR-131 starts from Arona towards Vilaflor and then runs east of El Teide via El Portillo to La Esperanza south of San Cristóbal de La Laguna. Work on extension on the one hand to Los Christianos and on the other hand to Santa Cruz. The section between Montaña de Roque and El Portillo offers a magnificent panorama while the number of meters in altitude is low.

Dolphins and Whales

In the strip separating Tenerife from La Gomera is a colony of Indian pilot whales, as well as other dolphins and cetaceans. Several boats leave daily from the ports of Los Gigantes, Puerto Santiago, Costa Adeje (all located in the south) to view the animals. It regularly happens that the animals approach the boats within a few meters.
